A lot of people were indeed shocked when they realized that Maine's outfits always has a resemblance on the other personality's outfit.
However, the issues have finally ended after the celebrity stylist and Preview contributing editor Liz Uy has filed six counts of online libel and grave slander complaints against the Fashion Pulis blogger Michael Sy Lim.

The complaints that Liz Uy filed with the help of her attorney was in relation to Lim's blog about Maine wearing a recycled gown for the Tamang Panahon concert and the same jacket with Liz Uy for her Preview cover shoot.

Liz Uy claims that she's doing what's right and she's fighting for her rights. She's doing this for Michael to learn his lesson and for her to cleanse her name.
Aside from Liz Uy, she was also accompanied by Isabelle Daza and Isha Andaya-Vallés who stood as her witnesses against Lim.

Their complaints were about issues posted by Lim that are not true and are malicious.
“And I think, Michael, who appears to be a professor in Marketing, should know that you destroy a brand, you destroy an image, you destroy a reputation by maliciously attributing false allegations.”
After this issue, Lim posted a statement on the Fashion Pulis blog spot.
