Henna Tattoos are one of the things that a tourists look for whenever they are out on a vacation. Henna tattoos became popular because of the same effect that you could get when a person wants to have a tattoo yet there is no pain involved and it is not permanent.

But for some people, what was supposed to be an art turned into a scar that they will be having for the rest of their lives.

In the previous times, the henna tattoo was claimed to have come from natural resources such as twigs and leaves from a henna plant. But this was the lighter version of the tattoo. Most tattoos using these ingredients will only leave a blend of maroon or  orange and disappears in 7-14 days.

Today, a lot of henna powder mixtures are available in a lot of stores. This mixture claims to have a darker shade than the natural mixture. But it contains chemicals that are harmful to the skin that might lead to diseases that needs medical treatment.

It contains Para-Phenylenediamine (PPD) which often causes allergic reactions to the human skin. It is always good to know the composition that every henna artist uses to be free from any allergic reaction that could ruin your skin.
