Every parent would risk their lives to save their children. They would do anything just to leave them out of danger. But it was not the case for this father.
Based on the report, the 20-year old woman drowned in Dubai because her father stopped the lifeguards from saving her. Even though the father knew that his daughter was struggling to get out of the beach, he did not let the life guards touch his daughter.
The father said that he would rather let her daughter drown rather than let any men who is a stranger touch her.
Lt. Col Ahmed Burqibah, the Deputy Director of Dubai Police Search and Rescue Department said, “The kids were swimming in the beach when suddenly, the 20-year-old girl started drowning and screaming for help."
But the father stuck with his belief that no other man could touch his daughter especially if it was a stranger.
