A study was conducted by Numbeo, a research firm which is based in Serbia. They made a study regarding the worst traffic in the world and in Asia.
According to the study, the Philippines was the fourth in Asia, while it is 9th in the world to have the worst traffic. The study included 88 countries in the world and each traffic index was computed to be used in the ranking.
Numbeo claims, "The composite index of time consumed in traffic due to job commute, estimation of time consumption dissatisfaction, carbon dioxide consumption estimation in traffic, and overall inefficiencies in the traffic system."
Out of the 88 countries the top 4 to have the worst traffic was Kenya, Egypt, Bangladesh and Bolivia.
