First Born Baby in a New hospital in Cebu Gets Full Scholarship Until College

We know for a fact that it's indeed expensive to raise a kid. You will pay for the hospital bills when you give birth, you will be feeding him through bottle so you will be buying milk and diapers for your baby. But the most expensive thing that you can give your child, is education. It's every parents' dream to see their child grow up, strive for success and finally have a degree of their own. But sadly, some people just couldn't afford education.

Here's some good news. A newborn baby in Cebu was declared to be supported in his studies from kinder up to college after being the first born baby in the newly opened hospital in Cebu City last June 16, 2015.

The baby was named Fern Michael Augusto, he was born via cesarean section at 4:55 Pm at the University of Cebu Medical Center (UC Med).

Candice Gotianuy, the President of the University of Cebu Med even shared photos of her carrying baby Augusto on Facebook.

Augusto was also the name of the UC president and lawyer, Augusto Go, that's why the mother of the baby decided to add it to the baby's name.

According to the mother of the baby, she didn't really expect her baby to have a full scholarship from kinder up to college. It was truly a big help.

Candice Gotianuy is now hoping that the birth of baby Augusto will be the signal of great things that will be coming for the newly opened hospital.
