The Bureau of Customs is receiving a lot of complains especially when they gave the news that they will be putting taxes and randomly opening the Balikbayan Boxes of the OFWs' for inspection. The people over the social media sites and the OFWs' around the world got furious about this news.
But another incident took place as Jujeath Nagowa expressed her emotions and disappointment through Facebook after the same institution tells her that she needed to pay six thousand pesos to be able to claim her championship belt.
Jujeath won the international flyweight division of Women's International Boxing Association. But she claims that she was offended because taxes will be imposed her belt after she fought for 10 rounds in the boxing ring.
She said, "I gambled my life for a lifetime treasure that others may take over my throne, but can’t take this crown".
