People could not help but notice that the competition between the two noontime shows of Eat Bulaga and Showtime is still there. Even though one had already admitted their defeat.
Now, the showtime host and Kapamilya Actor Vhong Navarro released a statement towards the effect of the sudden rise of the phenomenal loveteam towards their show.
It happened at the press conference that was for his newest movie, 'Buy Now, Die Later.'
When Vhong was asked if the ratings of Showtime was affected by Alden Richards and Maine Mendoza's loveteam here is what he had to say,
'Oo. Oo, naman. Hindi naman natin ikakaila yun. Sabi ko nga, kumbaga, that time, ang Eat Bulaga parang gumaganun (taas-baba) sila, kami rin nararamdaman din namin ngayon yun.
But to him, what is more important is that there are still people who are supporting their show and he claims that their goal is to keep them happy and always put a smile on their face.
