Syrian Man Who Used To Sell Pens Now Owns Bakeries And Restaurants, Helping Out Other Syrian Refugees!


 The photo of this Syrian Man became viral as the netizens showed their sympathy as he sells pen in the streets of Beirut, under the heat of the sun to be able to provide for his children. 



Since then, a lot of people were generous enough to start a campaign that would gather donations from around the world. 

The organization of Indiegogo was able to give enough to the 33-year-old Abdul Halim al-Attar. The donations that he got was used to put up his own business. He was able to start two bakeries and a restaurant. 




From the help that he got, he is now helping other Syrian refugees by hiring them to work in his stores. 


Halim claims, “Not only did my life change, but also the lives of my children and the lives of people in Syria whom I helped.”
