Deadly giant piranha was caught in the Congo River!


Piranhas are one of the most dangerous fishes there is in the waters. It has been feared by the people, but what if you found a giant piranha?

The fish that they caught was called Hydrocynus Goliath or also known as tiger fish, giant tiger fish or mbenga. It is not really a piranha but its capabilities is similar to that. It is just bigger and deadlier.


In Congo River, Africa, a man captured the dangerous fish with 32 razor sharp teeth. This fish is claimed as deadly, because of its ability to attack humans and even eat small crocodiles.


Jeremy Wade, caught the 5-ft-long Goliath tiger fish in an episode of the show, River Monsters. He used a large catfish and rod to capture this. 

Wade gave the captured tiger fish to the local villagers. They will be the ones to decide what to do with the fish.
