Working abroad is one of the hardest decisions that a person could do to earn a living. Despite the fact that they will be earning double, the situation will be much more difficult.
Since they are far from their families and they are in a foreign country, they could not ask for help whenever they are facing a problem or abuse they could not report it right away.
One OFW named Jae Ann Harayo Ferolin uploaded a video on her Facebook account. She was crying all through out the video. She was also showing the scratches, bruises and wounds that she got from her abusive employer.
She is now asking for help because she wanted to come home. Jae Ann is only working overseas for one month. Her salary is being held by her employer, she doesn't even know what her address is abroad.
